Hi there! My name is Ruben van der Velde and welcome to my website. Having grown up in rural French Belgium, I have committed myself to travel around the world and live the most incredible adventures. This gave me a lot of respect and knowledge that will be useful for the rest of my life. After having worked for Apple in Groningen (NL) I started to realize my passion for computer science and the business sector that evolves around it. Taking my passion for videogames in account, I decided to follow a bachelor study at Hanze University of Applied Science to learn more of what has become my largest interest: Business IT management. In this portfolio you will find a glimpse of what I have been working on the last few years.
The gaming industry is growing constantly, new trends and technologies are emerging nearly daily. Videogames are the most intriguing pieces of art in our day and age in my opinion. The craftsmanship, art, management, technology, time and passion put into these projects are something extraordinary that no other form of media or entertainment could match. While studying Business IT Management I am dreaming of one day becoming a part of this constantly evolving industry.
